Jewelry is inherently delicate. It breaks. Sometimes the repair is as simple as replacing a lost or broken clasp, sometimes things are a bit more complicated. Either way, I am happy to take a look at your piece and will give you a free estimate for repair. If I am unable to repair your piece, I will do my best to give you a referral to someone who can.
Almost all of us have THAT piece (or pieces) in our jewelry stash: Grandma’s or Mom’s necklace that isn’t quite right for you; a bit or part from an old piece that you’d still like to wear, something that has gone out of style. Whatever the reason it languishes in your jewelry box, it is hard to bring ourselves to get rid of it.
So, how about repurposing it?
I am happy to work with you to discuss possible ways to bring your old pieces to new life. This gives you a chance to be in on the design process and also, if you are so inclined, to actually learn to do some of the work.
