Not so much a commission as a gift. I did this pin for my friend Laurie Loewenstein's launch of her first novel "Unmentionables." The pin is an interpretation of the image on the book cover.

I patterned the sterling with a piece of lace and cut out the shape. The back portion is riveted on and laced with gold-filled wire. The buttons are fused 24K gold.
