Leaping Dolphin tabletop piece

This piece was commissioned for the customer's dolphin loving friends. At first I envisioned the sideview of a dolphin leaping -- kind of an iconic image. But when I saw a photo of a dolphin from this angle, I knew I had to do it.
I had a blast making this piece! The dolphin is copper, in a Lucite base and is flanked front and back by Lucite waves.
Please note that this item is not for sale, but is represented here to demonstrate the kind of work I do on commission.
