If there is anything really good about Facebook, it's that it can help you get in touch with people you haven't seen or talked to for quite awhile. Such was the case with my friend I made this piece for. We both love flying pigs, and, to thank her for sending us our first handmade masks for the pandemic, I sent her this little guy, who she named Percy.
Percy is made of copper and colored with heat and metal leaf. Spacer rivets lift him above the heart and arrow, for a bit of dimension. And besides, he is flying! Please note that this piece is not for sale, but is represented here to demonstrate the kind of work I do on commission.
